Beliefs are only intended to guide us into light, truth, and knowledge through experience. Once we have the experience to live we no longer need the concept or words that got us there. Once we get the truth of where the belief has led us to we no longer need the belief. Do we say - I believe the sun will rise tomorrow or do we live as if we expect it too knowing that it will (barring a meteor knocking us out of orbit)(and of course one day the sun will go supernova and burn the earth to a cinder block but it won't be tomorrow) ;) Beliefs are replaced with light and truth and experience. Beliefs are replaced with a knowing. Beliefs are better than wondering around aimlessly not bothering to determine anything.
