There has been a great deal of discussion lately about the concept of “being in the now”. And I’ve really liked the discussions and agree wholeheartedly with the concept. I also like cake. And on the show “Sunday Morning” with Charles Osgood today, there was an interesting exchange about cake.
Anthony Mason was interviewing Kate Winslet. Towards the end of the interview, Anthony made the following comment, “It’s very important to know when the cake is in front of you, that it’s there.” Kate’s immediate reply was, “Yes, I know, and it’s also very important to eat the entire thing.”
